First off we have no idea what model Airstream this is. We just call it the "President." No we are not dumb. There is no model plate. We have contacted and shown many knowledgeable Airstreamists and none of them know for sure. The previous (only) owners were the president (and first lady) of the WBCC (notice not WBCCI) in 1963-64. The reason I know this is that I have 3 plaques that we're left inside the trailer when we bought it. 2 are for Vernon Loveless the WBCC president and the other is for his wife Phoebe. The plaques are very cool and represent some of the first WBCC events. One is from the 9th International rally (66). These previous owners were pioneers of the Airstream community. Unfortunately Vernon passed away before we bought the trailer. We were never able to speak with Phoebe as we dealt with a middle man for the trailer. We do know that they loved this Airstream and used it often. We like to think they would be proud to see that their Airstream was rebuilt into one of the coolest Airstreams we've seen.

From our best guess this was a custom built unit. We've been told this by many older Airstream factory workers and enthusiasts. It's like a cross between a Safari and a Flying Cloud. The layout is very nice as it can sleep 4 people and still have a full bathroom in a 22' space.

Keeping in the spirit of Pioneering Airstreams. We decided to have a little fun with this rebuild. Alot of the new things we installed were not found in the original layout. For example the 1,000 watt Sony sound system with 12" sub, two 6x9" and two 6" speakers, fold down LCD, with DVD and of course the Ground FX lights. We also kept a lot of the original items as well. For example the cabinets and the "Valiant" continuous hot water heater.

We installed "Ground FX" lights underneath the belly pan. The lights can be changed different colors and move in different patterns and speeds. They can be controlled by the control panel inside or by the included wireless remote. They run off of 12v so you can be the "party" at the next Airstream rally. Looks really awesome against the mirror reflection.

All of the interior has been sprayed with "Grey Stone" zolatone. A new inner spring mattress was put inside the Airstream.

Laminate floor, Oversized 3-way Dometic fridge,
Suburban range, 12v kitchen vent and light, all sitting underneath a beautifully polished front endcap.

Both the bathroom sink and tub have been refinished in white. New Thetford tiolet.
